Because it's insured like numerous other club lotto's in Ireland in order to ensure our players are always playing for a high jackpot.
2.Does that mean lines in the draw are in competition with those bought in other clubs?
No, it doesn't. Each club insures their own Jackpot. Everyone buying tickets in the Gaeltacht Iorrais Lotto are only entered for our Jackpot, so the probability of winning is as high as any other club's. Numerous Megalotto Jackpots can be won in any week.

3.How do I win a Match 3 Jackpot?
If you get three numbers between 1 and 30 of the non bonus numbers you win a €500 Jackpot.
4.How are the draws conducted? All draws are conducted using Random.org, in a template created and by Megalotto and are recorded by the club as proof of the correct procedures being followed.
5.How are lucky dips drawn? Lucky Dips are drawn at random using Klubfunders inbuilt software, ensuring that no officer of the club or third party have any influence over who wins. The draw includes every line purchased in the given week's Lotto sales.
